Atuule User Data Deletion Instructions

Atuule Marketing Agency Limited ("Atuule", "we", "us") respects your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request deletion of information we hold about you across our platform, including data collected through our website, WhatsApp Cloud API integration, Telegram bot/mini-app, and AI assistant (Njavwa).

1. What you can request to delete

• Your Atuule account and profile information.
• WhatsApp conversation data exchanged with our WhatsApp Cloud API number (messages, media references, contact metadata).
• Telegram-linked data (bot conversations, mini-app session records, linked Telegram chat IDs).
• Order, contact, and communication history where legally permissible.
• Marketing consents and notification preferences.

2. Records we may need to retain

Some records are retained even after deletion requests, strictly for legal, accounting, tax, anti-fraud, or dispute-resolution purposes (typically up to seven years, in line with Zambian law). Retained records are minimised and access-controlled.

3. How to submit a deletion request

1. Email privacy@atuule.com from the email address linked to your Atuule account. If you do not get an acknowledgement within 7 days, use the postal address at the bottom of this page.
2. Use the subject line: Data Deletion Request.
3. Include the WhatsApp number, Telegram username/handle, or account email associated with the data you want removed.
4. Describe which categories you want deleted (account, WhatsApp, Telegram, orders, marketing, all of the above).

4. Identity verification

To protect your account from unauthorised deletion, we will verify your identity before processing the request. This may include confirming ownership of the linked email, phone number, or WhatsApp/Telegram handle, or requesting a government-issued ID where the data involves financial or legally significant records.

5. Response time

We acknowledge deletion requests within 7 calendar days and complete eligible deletions within 30 calendar days. Where additional verification or legal review is required, we will keep you informed of progress.
